Senior UX Consultant

The UX Consultant is part UX designer, part accessibility expert (we will train you!) and part business analyst. UX Consultants are critical to helping User1st’s Customer’s achieve accessibility across all of their digital assets including websites, web apps, and mobile apps. Thus, User1st is seeking a Senior Technical UX Consultant to help support our customers design, implement and deploy Accessible Digital Assets


Essential Duties & Responsibilities


• Derive business processes, analyze customers accessibility needs, assist in requirements definition, give feedback about browser-based interfaces, and design and conduct usability testing
• Create Personas and Scenarios of Use.
• Design color schemes, CSS, and other critical design functions
• Document user requirements, screen designs, and design recommendations.
• Support Sales and Marketing Activities by demonstrating product and design concepts to customers and partners.
• Communicate technical topics as well as interface with the customer on a daily basis


Qualifications & Education/Experience


• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign, and other mock up tools
• 5-8 years of prior UX/Graphic Design experience
• 3-5 years of HTML and JavaScript Prototyping Experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Excellent customer service
• Experience interacting directly with customers/end users
• Strong work ethic
• Being adept at brainstorming
• Great research skills

Junior UX Consultant
