Sales Director

User1st is looking for a high-performing Sales Director for its Small Medium Enterprise (SME) business. The successful candidate will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives as well as have outstanding management and communication skills.


Sales Director responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve your financial targets. Sales Director duties will include managing a growing team, hitting annual revenue targets, building relationships, supporting the User1st Mission and understanding customer and market trends.


This position includes ample growth opportunity and reports directly to the Vice President of Sales.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Small-Medium Enterprise (SME) Account Managers in support of annual sales objectives and targets by providing excellent support, mentorship and coaching
• Own and hit or exceed overall annual sales target for all SMEs
• Develop a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our SME customer base and help Account Managers formulate their own Territory Plans
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships to advance the User1st mission of “World Wide Accessibility”
• Report key metrics to Vice President of Sales on overall progress, including, but not limited to, deals, meetings, prospecting activities and industry trends
• Manage additional hiring, on-boarding and development of Account Executives
• Ensure Account Executive proposals and value proposition are effectively communicated for each client
• Work closely with the Vice President of Sales to ensure the team receives the right support, materials and training for their territories


Qualifications & Education/Experience

• Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets
• Previous experience as a sales executive or sales manager
• Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
• Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
• Proven ability to position products against competitors
• Demonstrable experience as a manager of sales, helping Account Managers develop client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• BA/BS degree or equivalent

Outside Sales Representative

Are you highly motivated, driven and a self-starter with a positive attitude? We need someone with a strong desire to learn in a growing and dynamic environment. This Outside Sales Rep would cover a certain geographical territory, which will involve travel.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create and achieve key sales and business development initiatives to increase sales pipeline

  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.

  • Research and build new and existing accounts

  • Foster relationships with key players on all teams (internally and externally)

  • Takes the initiative to be educated on new offerings as they happen and communicates possible new offering to tech team

  • Highly developed selling, customer relations and negotiations skills with the ability to effectively communicate with C-level executives and line of business representatives

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based

  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around User1st’s offerings

  • Accelerate customer adoption

  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption

  • Manage contract negotiations

Qualifications & Education/Experience

  • Solid record of sales with emphasis in new product adoption

  • Outstanding written/verbal communication skills

  • 3 years of working experience in sales; technology sales preferred

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals quarterly

  • Skills: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), CRM

  • Ability and willingness to travel

Junior Professional Services Developer

Junior Professional Services Developers are responsible for implementing and troubleshooting custom implementations for our external client base. The Junior Professional Services Developers routinely work closely with the Solutions Consultants team and are crucial to our implementation success.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other implementation and quality assurance team members to guarantee successful implementation
• Design, prototype and build technical solutions
• Design, develop, and deploy solutions for successful implementation
• Create mappings to facilitate smooth integrations
• Report and fix bugs as needed
• Become proficient with our proprietary software
• Work collaboratively with the R&D and QA teams
• Additional assignments as requested

Qualifications & Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
• 1-3 years of experience with Javascript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS
• Excellent communication skills, strong team player, and the ability to work cross functionally in a fast-paced, high-productivity startup environment
• Able to work on multiple projects at a given time
• Experience in developing web applications
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Able to explain complex technical information
• Strong work ethic
